CRANES ELEVATED » A PUBLIC ART PROJECT

Since 2015, I have been directing a long-standing love for casual crane-making into a public art project on Instagram. I create tiny paper cranes from self-designed or purchased papers, and place them around my environment. I post photos of each crane with the pipe dream that someone will encounter one of my creations. Just as origami brings more organization, structure, and dimension to paper; these cranes attempt to bring new layers and perspectives to their environment, and encourage me to continue seeking beauty in the smallest of things.
