Over the winter of 2015, I was contracted by a Dance Movement Therapy graduate student to help them complete their masters thesis on the role holistic practices might play in Dance Movement Therapy. My client already earned their masters in Kinesiology, and works with Allstate Insurance running workshops for stress reduction and body awareness. My role was to code the data (five transcribed interviews), search for reoccurring themes, and draw out shortened quotes to be used in the final thesis. I created a quotation database using excel, allowing my client to easily search their data and complete their thesis.
